The hotel is undergoing a renovation process of rooms at least until the end of 2007. The work will be carried out by sections and it may cause some noise. Work hours are Mon-Fri from 9am-6pm.** This striking hotel is not only the direct neighbour of the National Museum (Rembrandt!), but also two other famous museums are close by: the Van Gogh Museum and the Municipal Museum of modern art. Amsterdam's most sophisticated shopping area is literally just around the corner: the P.C. Hooftstraat with all the most famous designer labels, the Van Baerlestraat and the Leidsetraat. Plus the Leidseplein with it's exciting nightlife with a mixture of theatres, disco's, cinemas and casino. And you can feast on all sorts of different culinary treats: French, Chinese or Thai. You are right in the centre of the old city in no time at all from the Museum Hotel , the canal boat lies almost on your doorstep and if you feel like some exercise then the Vondel park is just two minutes from your doorstep. Some rooms only offer a shower.

The Museum Hotel Amsterdam has 117 stylish hotel rooms provided with every comfort: individually adjustable air-conditioning, bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, minibar, sitting area and desk. The hotel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms, of course.
Dining
After a healthy night’s rest you can take breakfast in the stylish breakfast restaurant. The full breakfast buffet includes fancy breads, sweet and savoury sandwich toppings, special delicacies and a number of hot dishes.
Services
If you wish we can provide you with an iron and an ironing board, an alarm service and/or a cot. A safe is available in the hotel reception. There is a doctor on call. Our reception staff can assist you in several languages.
