Traditional 4-star hotel has a brilliant location and ideal for clients who prefer a traditional yet modern hotel in the old part of Salzburg. Built on ancient Roman walls and located in the heart of Salzburg`s old town centre. This traditional hotel dates back to 1342 and was renovated in 2008.
The Altstadthotel Kasererbrau is situated at the foot of the fortress Hohensalzburg, directly in the pedestrian area. The hotel has been run by the Giebisch family for generations.
Rooms
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with bath or shower, a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, direct dial telephone, a radio, cable TV and Internet access. Some rooms have a minibar and safe.
The suites are spacious but like the standard rooms do vary in style and layout. They are mostly laid out over two floors.
Dining
Our delicious and varied breakfast buffet awaits you from 06:30 until 10:30.
The breakfast room is located to the right of the lobby bar towards the rear of the hotel and is still part of the traditional part of the hotel. Decor is light yet cosy and a good breakfast is offered here
