One moment. Working on it...
Details
The hotel is a meticulously restored 17th century castle, but the roots of the property can be traced as far back as the 1400's. The current building was rebuilt after a fire in 1939 but has maintained many features, where ever possible, of the original design. (08/09 RT)
Rooms
All of the rooms within the hotel are designed to remind guests of the original Gealic heritage of the castle. They blend into this appreciation of the past a real understanding of what contemporary guests will require. Each room is decorated to the highest standards and are in excellent condition. Rooms are medium or large in size and all feature bespoke furnishings and antiques.
Dining
The hotel's restuarant is rapidly gaining a reputation locally and across the wider Irish dining landscape as being at the forfront of Irish cuisine. The menu is designed by the hotel's executive chef and changes quite regularly, the staple dishes are all based on traditional Irish recipes and the majority of ingredients are locally sourced.
