Conveniently positioned in the picturesque centre of historical Alkmaar, the family-run Familie Hotel Alkmaar offers spacious and modern apartment-style accommodation in a fantastic location.
Offering just 3 apartments, the Familie Hotel Alkmaar is the perfect choice for guests looking for extra space or family accommodation. Apartments range from 90-120 square metres in size, are modern in style and all feature sleeping, living and dining areas.
The Familie Hotel offers the guests the use of a large communal kitchen and dining room, where a daily breakfast is served (at a supplement). Guests can also make use of a shared refrigerator, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The hotel is situated in the centre of Alkmaar and is surrounded by many little shops, restaurants and cafes. There are numerous tourist attractions within easy reach which include the historical De Waag (weigh house), the cheese market, the cathedral, the Dutch cheese museum and the national beer museum.

You’ll find the hotel in the heart of Alkmaar’s historical town centre. If you come by train, it's a 10-minute walk to the Familie Hotel Alkmaar.
Alkmaar is a traditional Dutch city, known for its authentic cheese markets in the summer season. You can visit the cheese market every Friday morning from 10:00 till 12:30 on Waag Square.
The artist village of Bergen is nearby and you can see the work of various local artists in several galleries. Bergen also has lovely shops and a charming town centre. Within 15 minutes you can drive from the hotel to the coastal village of Bergen aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee, with their beaches along the North Sea.
The capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, is only half an hour’s drive away. If you visit the Netherlands, you cannot forget to visit Amsterdam with its lovely canals, markets and art galleries.
