This small-scale hotel is located in the city centre, within walking distance of the Market Square with its famous St. Bavo Church. The hotel has temporary art exhibitions on display. Golden Tulip Lion d'Or offers rooms with air conditioning and a seating area. A breakfast buffet is served in the morning. The Bar and Lounge have a large variety of drinks and small snacks. For a quick business lunch or an evening dinner there is an à la carte restaurant. The Frans Hals Museum and Teylers Museum, as well as shopping areas and antique shops are all within a 10-minute walk of Golden Tulip Lion d’Or. Haarlem Railway Station is 270 metres away and offers direct access to The Hague, Leiden, Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Central Station. The beach in Zandvoort is just over minutes away by train.

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Guests are kindly requested to note that there is construction going on in front of the hotel until mid 2012. During the festive season there are adjusted opening times for the restaurant: 24 December until 30 December 2011 - Closed 31 December 2011: 12:00 until 20:00 01 January 2012: Closed 02 January until 06 January 2012: 17:30 until 22:00.
