One moment. Working on it...
Details
Hotel Bristol is located in the heart of the city just across from the Vienna State Opera, mere steps away from the city's main sites. The hotel was founded in 1892 and named after the British town of Bristol. Since its inauguration, the hotel's exclusive ambiance has made it the preferred Vienna residence of international celebrities, socialites, and royalty. It is not only the spot where the Prince of Wales and Wallis Simpson vacationed at the height of their affair and after but also where Noble Peace Prize winner Bertha con Suttner met her political rival, the American president Theodore Roosevelt, and where George Gershwin worked on "An American in Paris." Moreover, our positioning across from the Vienna State Opera means that the biggest names in opera choose to call us their Viennese home-away-from-home.
Artists from Rubinstein to Puccini, conductors from Herbert von Karajan to Leonard Bernstein, and even US Generals after the Second World War can all attest to the charms of Hotel Bristol, which have only increased through the years. Our most recent improvement occurred in 2008 when 48 rooms were renovated. The current decor is a seamless Art Nouveau fusion of fin de siecle antiques and the latest technology—all accentuated by our superior, professional staff's impeccable service.
Rooms
Our 140 spacious guest rooms, including 18 suites, enchant with Art Nouveau style, fin de siecle touches and real antiques.
Dining
Savor delectable Austrian specialties in our exclusive restaurant, Korso bei der Oper. Or enjoy stunning views of the State Opera House from our Restaurant Sirk as well as the Viennese Cafe Sirk. Then relax and enjoy casual conversation and live piano music in the Bristol Bar.
Conference & Meeting Rooms
The Bristol's exclusive salons make the perfect locations for successful meetings and elegant banquets. The light-flooded Ringstrassen Salons string together like the pearls of a necklace, and in the oval Mezzanine and Souterrain Salons an atmosphere of noble elegance blends with the latest conference technology. Major conventions and seminars as well as festive banquets take place at the Festive Hall. The dignified atmosphere of the EU Board Room on top of the city's roofs is made for small but exquisite meetings. Seated on comfortable leather chairs, you will easily develop new business ideas for your success. Number of Meeting Spaces of the hotel: 10 Largest Meeting Space: 1970 sq. ft. (183 sq.m)
