The Bishop's House is a comfortable four-star hotel right in the historical centre of Prague, in close vicinity of the legendary Charles Bridge.
It occupies a historical house in the Lesser Town, only a few steps from Charles Bridge and underneath the Prague Castle.
The history of the house dates back to the late 12th century when the city bishop's vast court was based here. The present look of the house is the result of a six year reconstruction of the 16th century building finished in 1843.
After a thorough reconstruction finished in 1999, the house was adapted to serve as a hotel. Behind the Empire facade, the guests can enjoy full modern comfort and genuine atmosphere of the past.
Some of the guest rooms offer a breathtaking view over the picturesque Lesser Town. From the top floor there is a splendid view of the entire city of Prague.
Bishop's House offers splendid and decorated bedrooms which were recently refurbished to the highest standards, providing a charming and homely ambience. Subtle colour combinations, quality fabrics and fine furniture enhance the character of the rooms.
All of the hotel's 35 rooms come equipped with bathtub or shower, hair dryer, mini-bar, safe, direct dial telephone, TV set with satellite reception, cable internet connection.
Restaurant At the Bishop's offers a wide selection of Czech and international cuisine.
The breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant.
